PRESS STATEMENT

STATEMENT BY MEMBERS OF THE CENTRAL COMMITTEE OF THE PEOPLE’S PROGRESSIVE PARTY

We have noted that Mr. Moses Nagamootoo and Mr. Khemraj Ramjattan have issued public statements claiming that President Bharrat Jagdeo had accused Ramjattan at a meeting of the Central Committee of the Party on January 31st, 2004 of “carrying” information concerning our discussions at the Central Committee meeting to the United States Embassy.
